Entry-Level Lava A56 Introduced in India, Priced at $63

Lava A56

Along with the recently released X28, Lava also launched a new entry-level smartphone under its "A" portfolio dubbed A56. The phone comes with a 5.0-inch capacitive touch display with FWVGA (854x480) resolution and is powered by a dual-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside with 512MB of RAM.

It includes a 4GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. Running the dated Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, the A56 bears a 5-megapixel camera at the rear with LED flash while is equipped at the front with a VGA camera for video-calling. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth, WiFi, 2G, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. The phone measures 147x72.2x9.9mm and is fuelled by a 1850mAh removable battery.

The dual-SIM enabled Lava A56 comes in White and Black color options. It will be available at selected stores across India at a price of Rs 4,199 ($63 USD) when it go sale.
