Infinix Note 3 with 6" FHD display, 4500mAh battery goes on sale in Nigeria

Infinix Note 3 X601

Infinix Mobility has officially released Note 3 X601, the company's latest mid-end smartphone in Nigeria few days after it was unveiled in Kenya. The new device which happens to be the successor of Note 2 X600 launched last year is now available for purchase on e-commerce site Jumia at a price of #54,700 NGN.

Painted in Champagne Gold color, the Note 3 features a 6-inch IPS capacitive touch display flaunting a brilliant full-HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and pixel density of 367ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. The phone includes a 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box topped the company's X UI and offers dual SIM (micro+micro) functionality. It also packs a fingerprint sensor at the back for smart security and authentication. In photography, the Note 3 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and twin-tone LED flash, capable of recording full-HD (1080p) video, while it bears a 5-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera at the front, also accompanied with a LED flash.

Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and USB OTG. It is fuelled by a gigantic 4500mAh battery. According to Infinix, the battery can deliver up to 48 hours of normal use in a single charge.

The LTE version of the Infinix Note 3 dubbed Note 3 LTE is expected to go on sale very soon. Unlike the 3G version, it will comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. Other specifications are expected to be the same.
