Alcatel Fierce 4 with 5.5" HD display, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE Outed at $69 in U.S

Alcatel Fierce 4

Alcatel today has launched a new affordable smartphone, Fierce 4, in the United States. The device is listed on network carrier MetroPCS and is also expected to be available on T-Mobile and selected third-party stores later this year.

Despite its cheap price tag of US$69 off-contract, the Fierce 4 manage to pack a 5.5-inch HD (1280x720) IPS display with Dragontrail glass protection and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, something we don't normally see at that price range. It is powered by an unspecified 1.1GHz quad-core processor (we are thinking of Snapdragon 210 here) coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

It comes with a single SIM slot with support of 4G LTE. The Alcatel Fierce 4 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera for great selfie capture. Apart from 4G LTE, the phone also offers Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It measures 150.8x76.9x8.1mm and weigh 164 grams. A 2500mAh battery turn it on.

MetroPCS claims the support of WiFi Calling and up to 12 hours of talk time.
