Lava X80

Lava today has introduced a new tablet with voice-calling functionality called X80. Clad in a plastic body that measure 215.5x125x9mm and weigh 320 grams, the device features an 8-inch IPS OGS display with WXGA (1280x800) resolution and multi-touch support. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz that can turbo boost up to 1.83GHz, clubbed with 1GB of RAM.

It includes a 16GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Lava X80 runs the dated Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with no words on Lollipop/Marshmallow update. It packs a 5-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear, and a 3.2-megapixel camera at the front. In connectivity aspect, the tablet supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. A 4200mAh battery turn it on.

The Lava X80 wears a price tag of Rs 11,999 ($180) and will be available in White and Black colours when it go on sale.
