Asus has officially launched ZenPad 3S 10 (Z500M), its latest high-end tablet in Taiwan as expected. The device surfaced last month and was teased by the company itself in late June without revealing its full specs sheet, something we now have. The ZenPad 3S 10 is wrapped in a sleek very slim body that measure just 7.15mm at its thickest point and 5.8mm at the thinnest, weighing 430 grams.

It features a 9.7-inch IPS Fully laminated touch display flaunting a brilliant QXGA (2048x1536) resolution and 178-degree wide angle view. It is powered by a 64-bit hexa-core MediaTek MT8176 (4-core 1.7GHz + 2-core 2.1GHz) processor accompanied with 650MHz IMG GX6250 processor, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB).

The tablet runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box topped with ZenUI, but lacks voice calling functionality, though it stills maintain a perfect balance in security as it housed a fingerprint sensor beneath the physical home button for biometric identification. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with full-HD (1080p) video recording capability, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.2 (+ aptX), WiFi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. Various audio enhancements are also in place to push quality sound out of ten magnet speakers equipped on the device, these includes Sonic Master, DTS Audio, and 7.1-channel surround sound, with the ability to process 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Res Audio. It is backed by a 5900mAh battery. According to Asus, the battery can deliver up to 10 hours of use in a single charge.

The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 will be available in Taiwan sometime in August at a price of NT$ 10,990 ($341 USD). It is painted in Silver and Grey colours.
