Swipe Launches Elite Plus with 5.5" 1080p display, 3050mAh battery, LTE

Swipe has announced its next smartphone in Elite series in India, Elite Plus. The company takes the wraps off the new device on its official blog, proclaiming new features and outstanding performance it offers when compares with other Elite family. Measuring 8.5mm at its thickest point, the Elite Plus features a brilliant 5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1920x1080) resolution, protected on the surface by Dragontrail glass.

It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card. The phone runs on Freedom OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and has two SIM slots for dual use. In photography, it packs a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera sits at the front. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and USB with OTG. A 3050mAh battery turn it on.

The Swipe Elite Plus will be available exclusively on FlipKart from 6th of June at a price of Rs 6,999 ($104 USD). It comes in Ivory White and Midnight Blue colours.
