Micromax Canvas Amaze 2

Micromax has launched Canvas Amaze 2, its latest mid-end smartphone and the successor of Canvas Amaze (Q395) released by the company in November last year. It features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and pixel density of 294ppi, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM, and there is a 16GB of storage inside that can be expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card.

The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and offers dual SIM functionality. At the rear, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, while a secondary 5-megapixel wide-angle lens camera sits at the front. Connectivity options onboard includes Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, and GPS. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

The Canvas Amaze 2 will be available in India exclusively on FlipKart starting from 9th of June (Thursday) at a price of Rs 7,499 ($112 USD).
