Intex Aqua Classic

The Indian phone maker, Intex, today has launched a new entry-level smartphone to its "Aqua" line-up in India named Aqua Classic. The 3G-enabled phone features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touch display with a poor FWVGA (854x480) resolution and 196ppi pixel density, protected on the surface by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is driven on the inside by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM.

It comes with an 8GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Intex Aqua Classic runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and offers dual-SIM functionality with dual standby. In photography, it packs a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture at the rear, and a VGA camera at the front for video-calling. Connectivity options included besides 3G are Bluetooth, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE, A-GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB.

The phone measures 145.5x72.6x9.3mm and weighs 160 grams. It come pre-loaded with Clean Master, Hike Messenger, Opera Mini, Saavn and more. A 2100mAh battery turn it on. According to Intex, the battery can deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and 210 hours of standby time.

The Intex Aqua Classic is priced at Rs 4,444 ($66 USD). It will be available at offline and online stores across the region in White, Grey, and Champagne colours when it go on sale.
