Micromax Bolt Selfie (Q424)

Micromax on Tuesday has launched a new entry-level smartphone in India, Bolt Selfie (Q424). The phone features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels, and is driven on the inside by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.0GHz, alongside with Mali-T720 and 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB).

On the software side, the device is govern by Android 5.1 Lollipop, and there are two SIM slots onboard with dual-Standby. The "Selfie" in its naming denote a 5-megapixel camera equipped at its front. The Bolt series are Micromax lowest range of smartphones, and it is very rare to see a device within this series to sports a 5MP front camera, the main reason it is wearing that name. There is also a 5-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with LED flash for non-selfie use.

On the connectivity front, the Bolt Selfie supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio. It is backed by a 1750mAh battery.

The Micromax Bolt Selfie is priced at Rs 4,999 ($74 USD) and will be exclusively available on FlipKart. It comes in White and Champagne colours.
