That awkward moment we thought Android phones couldn't get any smaller after the introduction of Elephone tiny smartphone, Q, in August last year, and here we are again to witness another device from a company that is hardly known, Posh Mobile. The Elephone Q may have held a respectable position in world's smallest Android phone arena, but the new Micro X S240 is here to un-sit and claim the throne Elephone has governed in the past eight months.

The Posh Mobile Micro X S240 measures 89 x 47 x 11.6mm and weight just 59 grams. The 11.6mm in height can be consider slightly thick, but this might be due to the thickness of battery it packs behind. The plastic body does help lower its weight though, we really don't think the phone is built with premium in mind. It features a 2.4-inch LCD capacitive touch display, which is 0.14-inch smaller than Elephone Q display (now you know why it is smaller). A 1.0GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor powered it on the inside, coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The Micro X S240 runs the dated Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It sports a 2-megapixel camera at the rear without LED flash, while there is a VGA camera at the front for video calling. Connectivity options included are 3G HSDPA+, Bluetooth, WiFi with Hotspot, GPRS/EDGE, GPS and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 650mAh. Posh Mobile claimed the battery can deliver up to 4 hours of talk time in a single charge.

The Micro X S240 is priced at $89.99 USD. It comes in White, Hot Pink, Royal Blue, and Black colour options.
