With competition still growing strong between Chrome and Windows OS, as seen in this year CES event, Samsung has again stepped forward after introducing its first Windows 10 powered convertible tablet earlier today to announce a new Chrome notebook named Chromebook 3.

The laptop has a slim body profile of 17mm at its thickest point and weights just 1.14kg. The lid can be flipped up to 180-degree with no damage done. In specifications aspect, the Samsung Chromebook 3 features a 11.6-inch anti-glare display with HD (1366 x 768) resolution, and packs an Intel Celeron N3050 processor paired with Intel HD Graphics. It comes in two RAM selections, 2GB RAM version and 4GB RAM version, based on customer choice, each accompanied with a 16GB flash memory.

Connectivity options provided includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, card reader, and HDMI port. Samsung claims the battery on Chromebook 3 can deliver up to 11 hours of use in single charge.

It will be available for order on the company's online store. Pricing details is not revealed.
