Micromax Canvas Tab P70221

Micromax has unveiled a new Android tablet in India dubbed Canvas Tab P70221. The device is listed on the company webpage along with its specifications while pricing and availability details are not revealed. We expect the device to go on sale in coming days.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P70221 runs the dated Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and offers voice calling functionality via dedicated dual SIM slots onboard. It features a 7-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor (unspecified) coupled with 1GB of RAM.

It comes with a 16GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). A 2-megapixel autofocus camera is equipped at the rear with no LED flash, while it bears a secondary 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera at the front for video calling. In connectivity aspect, the Canvas Tab P70221 support Bluetooth, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. It is powered by a 3200mAh battery. According to Micromax, the battery can deliver up to 11.5 hours of talk time and 158 hours of standby time.
