Xolo 8X-1000i

Along with One HD announced on Monday, Xolo also unveiled 8X-1000i, a new affordable smartphone in India. The device is listed on the firm webpage without pricing and availability details.

The Xolo 8X-1000i is a new version and successor of 8X-1000 launched along with 8X-1200 in August last year. It features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a pixel density of 294ppi, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box topped with the company's Hive UI. An octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor clocked at 1.4GHz powered the device on the inside, paired with 2GB of RAM and Mali 450 GPU.

There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard, which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Xolo 8X-1000i houses an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and LED flash, while a 2-megapixel camera is equipped at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi. 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is on by a 1920mAh battery. According to Xolo, the battery can deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and 352 hours of standby time.
