Celkon CT722 with Intel

Celkon earlier this week launched a new tablet in India named CT722. The device is available for purchase exclusively on e-commerce website Snapdeal at a price of Rs 4,999 ($75 USD).

The Celkon CT722 features a 7-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and 5-point multitouch. On the inside, it is driven by a quad-core Intel Atom X3 C3230RK processor clocked at 1.2GHz, alongside with 1GB of RAM. It includes an 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

Notably, the Celkon CT722 offers voice calling functionality via a dedicate SIM card slot with support of 3G, which is crucial at that price range. Also, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. A 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash is placed at the back, while a 1.3-megapixel camera is equipped at the front for video calling. Other connectivity options onboard includes Bluetooth, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, and GPS. It is backed by a 2800mAh battery.
