Xolo Era HD

Xolo on Friday launched a new affordable smartphone in India, Xolo Era HD, which is an upgraded variant and successor of Xolo Era that was released in July. The device costs Rs 4,777 ($73 USD) and is readily available for purchase.

Specwise, the Xolo Era HD features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution, touting a pixel density of 294ppi, which is an upgrade from FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution in its predecessor. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7713 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM. An 8GB storage is placed inside which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The Xolo Era HD runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and offers dual-SIM functionality with dual standby. It harbours an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash at the rear, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfie. Connectivity options included are Wifi with Hotspot, Bluetooth, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. A 2500mAh battery fuel the device.
