Samsung has officially took the wraps off its latest entry-level smartphone in Galaxy series in China, Galaxy J3 (SM-J3109Z), an upgraded version of Galaxy J2 released by the firm in September. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy J3 comes with a larger display, RAM, and an enhanced front and rear camera. The device is listed on Samsung China webpage without pricing and availability.

Now, to the specifications, the Galaxy J3 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with TouchWiz UI. It is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) paired with 1.5GB of RAM. An 8GB storage is placed inside which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

Sitting at the back is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, while it sports a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The Samsung Galaxy J3 is listed as single SIM variant only, but there's a possibility of dual SIM variant showing up as time goes on.
