Lenovo has added a new tablet to its collections in India called Tab 2 A7-20, wearing a price cap of Rs 5,499 ($85 USD). It will be available starting from Thursday at online and offline stores across the region. Availability outside India is not known.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 comes to join its brothers-in-arm Tab 2 A7-10 and Tab 2 A7-30, both of which were launched in January this year. Much like others, the new tablet runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, however, the company said it is upgradeable to Android Lollipop.

It features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, and packs a 1.3 quad-core processor (probably MediaTek) slammed with 1GB of RAM. It is equipped with an 8GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). At the rear, the Tab 2 A7-20 houses a 2-megapixel camera without LED flash, while it bears a VGA camera at the front for video calling.

Connectivity options included are Bluetooth, Wifi, and Micro-USB. It is powered by a 3450mAh battery. The Tab 2 A7-20.
