The Chinese phone maker, Coolpad, has launched a new high-budget smartphone in India dubbed Note 3. The device was first released in China in April but has now headed to India as promised by the company. It will be exclusively available for purchase on Amazon India starting from 20th of October via flash sale at a price of Rs 8,999 ($138 USD, #27,400 NGN).

The Coolpad Note 3 features a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with Cool UI 6.0. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz alongside with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

There is a 16GB of internal storage onboard which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 64GB). The Coolpad Note 3 has a fingerprint sensor for smart security. A 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture is equipped at the rear, accompanied with LED flash, while it bears a 5-megapixel camera at the front.

On the connectivity front, the Note 3 supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. It comes in White color only.
