Acer Liquid Jade Primo

Acer during IFA event that took place in Berlin last month unveiled a device which it called a Pocket PC, Liquid Jade Primo, but failed to mentioned its pricing and availability. Today however, the company has announced that the handset will go sale in Philippines in December at a price of PHP 18,990, which translates to roughly $398 USD. Availability for international markets is still kept under-wraps.

The Acer Liquid Jade Primo runs Windows 10 Mobile out-of-the-box and it is the company's first (and world's first) device to fully utilize Microsoft Continuum functionality on Windows 10, enabling it to be use in full desktop mode when connected with an external display such as monitor. It comes bundled with a keyboard, mouse and a docking station inside the pack.

In specifications aspect, the device features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution. It is driven by a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor of unknown clock speed, coupled with 3GB of RAM, while a 32GB storage sits inside.

At the rear, the Liquid Jade Primo is equipped with a 21-megapixel camera with twin-LED flash, while an 8-megapixel selfie camera resides at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, and GPS. No word on battery capacity.
