Micromax Unveils Bolt Q338 Entry Level Smartphone With 5" HD Display

Micromax Bolt Q338

Micromax has announced a new budget smartphone to its Bolt series in India named Bolt Q338. The device is listed on the firm webpage with a price tag of Rs 6,499 (US$101) while availability details is still kept under-wraps. We expect it to go on sale next week.

The Micromax Bolt Q338 offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. It features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Diving in, the smartphone is driven by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) topped with 1GB of RAM.

There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB). Sitting at the back is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera accompanied with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera take hold of the front. In connectivity aspect, the Bolt Q338 supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery.
