Meizu has added a new smartphone to its 2015 flagship collections, Meizu Pro 5. The announcement was made earlier today at an event organized by the company in China. It comes in two variants, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, priced at CN¥ 2799 (US$440) and CN¥ 3099 (US$485) respectively. The device is available for pre-orders and will start shipping from 12th of October. Global availablitity is not mentioned, but it is expected to launch in India next month .

The Meizu Pro 5 is wrapped in a metallic body and has a fingerprint sensor embedded below the physical home button named mTouch. The button also enables different functions depending on how it is pressed. It has USB Type-C port and mCharge 2.0 quick charge technology that can charge its 3,050mAh battery from 0% to 65% in just 30 minutes. 4G LTE Cat.6 onboard enables faster browsing with up to 300Mbps download speed.
