HTC One M9e

HTC is all set to unleash two new flagships in an event expected to take place on Tuesday. Invitations has been sent out which indeed confirms that something is happening tomorrow, but the firm is still keeping things under-wraps and strictly not saying much about what awaits. Among the device expected to be launch in tomorrows event is a mini variant of One M9 named One M9e, and international variant of J Butterfly HTV31 that was exclusively launched in Japan in March.

With just 24 hours to go, the HTC One M9e has been certify on TENAA, revealing some of its specifications along the way. This might means the phone will be visiting Asia first or be Asia exclusive.

According to image and listing that appears on TENAA, the device will have a full metallic body just like its senior One M9, with dual front-facing speakers with Boom Sound sitting at the top and bottom. It will features a 5-inch full-HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) IPS display and runs on Android Lollipop OS topped with Sense UI.

The type of processor that will powers One M9e on the inside is not revealed, but it is likely to be MediaTek Helio X10. Considering HTC used this chipset in most of its device launched "specifically" in Asia/China in recent months, it might as well be. Something tomorrows event will have to tell us (if it shows up). Other features expected to be onboard are 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, ultra-pixel front camera, and 4G LTE.

The J Butterfly HTV31 will be launch as Butterfly 3 for global markets. It is clear that HTC has One M9e at work, but launching it in 24 hours time is what cannot be predict. Guess we'll just have to wait.
