Intex Aqua Ace

Intex has launched a new budget Android smartphone to its Aqua series in India named Aqua Ace. The device is priced at Rs 12,999 ($197) and will be available in Black and White colors when it go on sale.

Notably, Aqua Ace is Intex "first" smartphone to pack a 3GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla 3. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek 6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz alongside with Mali-T720 GPU.

There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB). The Aqua Ace runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and has two SIM slots with 4G LTE support. A 13-megapixel autofocus camera is equipped at the rear, accompanied with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel selfie camera sits at the front.

Connectivity options included besides 4G LTE are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G, 2G, GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. A 2,300mAh battery turn it on.
