Android Wear Now Support iPhone

Apple fans rejoice as Google officially announced its support of Android Wear operating system with iPhone earlier today. The app which is now available on Apple iTunes store lets iPhone users connect and use their device with smartwatches running on Android Wear.

Among the features iPhone users will benefit are:

1.) Receive/read missed call, text messages and other notifications alert

2.) Track and synchronize fitness in real time, monitor heart rate.

3.) Synchronize Google applications such as Gmail, Search, Calender e.t.c (currently, third-party apps are not supported).

4.) Use 'Ok Google' functionality to communicate via voice command. e.g ask tomorrow weather forecast, set alarm and reminders.

For now, only iPhone 5+ or device running iOS 8.2+ are supported. It is confirmed to be working on LG Watch Urbane. Other upcoming device that will be supported are Asus ZenWatch 2, Moto 360 2 and Huawei Watch.

Huawei Watch was mistakingly listed on Amazon during the weekend, flaunting iPhone support. Though we doubt it at first but Google has made things clearer now which we are happy for.
