Swipe ELITE

Swipe has launched its latest smartphone under its newly created series, ELITE. The device was previously mentioned by the firm few weeks ago but is now up for grab exclusively on e-commerce website Flipkart at Rs 5,999 (approx $94).

Notably, ELITE is Swipe first smartphone to run Freedom OS which is the firm new custom ROM based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It includes off-screen gesture and offers 100GB of free cloud storage for saving files and data. Specwise, the device features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D IPS display and packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor slammed with 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone includes a 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). At the rear, the dual-SIM enabled Swipe ELITE packs a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash while it harbours a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfie. Connectivity options included are 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2,500mAh battery.
