Panasonic Eluga Switch

Panasonic has added a new high-end smartphone to its Eluga portfolio on Tuesday in India named Eluga Switch. The device carries a price tag of Rs 19,990 ($312) and comes in Gun Metal Grey color.

The most notable feature of Panasonic Eluga Switch is its reversible display, which automatically adjust to direction of how it is hold. This makes the device usable even when hold upside down and users can make calls or do whatever they want without minding how they hold their smartphone. To remind you, reversible display was first introduced by Alcatel in OneTouch Idol 3 at MWC event in March.

The smartphone also comes with dual microphone and 1.2W dual front speakers, placed at the top and bottom of the display. In specs aspect, the Eluga Switch features a 5.5-inch IPS OGS (one glass solution) display with full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution, protected with Asahi Dragon Trail glass. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-boy with Reversible UI.

Diving in, the device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. There is a 32GB of built-in storage onboard which is non-expandable. At the rear, the Eluga Switch is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens camera with 84-degree view is placed at the front. Connectivity options provided are 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and Micro-USB with OTG. It is fuelled by a 2,910mAh battery.
