Iris Atom 2, Lava new entry-level Android smartphone has go sale in India without official announcement by the firm. The phone is available on eBay India at Rs 4,444 ($69) and it comes in White and Black colors.

The Iris Atom 2 features a 4.5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.

Diving in, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor slammed with 512MB of RAM. It packs an 8GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). At the rear, the Iris Atom 2 houses a 5-megapixel camera accompanied with LED flash while it bears a VGA camera at the front for video calling.

Connectivity options included are Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 1,750mAh battery. We expect it to be announce in coming days.
