Xolo Era With 5-inch FWVGA Display, 1GB RAM, 3G Launched At $70

Xolo has launched a new Android smartphone in India named as Xolo Era, priced at Rs 4,444 ($70 USD). It will be exclusively available on e-commerce website Snapdeal before this week ends.

Specwise, the Xolo Era features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, it support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The firm is yet to confirm if it will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop.

Diving in, the device is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (chipset unspecified) slammed with 1GB of RAM. It packs an 8GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. At the rear, the Xolo Era houses an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash while it bears a 2-megapixel camera at the front.

Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G (HSPA+), GPRS/EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio. A 2100mAh battery power the device.
