Turing Phone

The San Francisco-based company Turing Robotic Industries, on Thursday launched a revolutionary smartphone which is claimed to be unhackable, unbreakable and waterproof called Turing Phone.

The device runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box customize with the firm own Aemaeth UI, which has an end-to-end encryption built deep within Android core, making it unhackable (and probably unrootable). Also, the phone can only be activate via a fingerprint sensor placed at its side.

The unbreakable misery is due to fact that it is built from a special metal stronger than Titanium and Steel called Liquidmorphium. As to the third property which is waterproof, the inner chamber of Turing Phone is nano-coated and doesn't make use of rubber tube as other waterproof smartphones does. If dipped inside water, the coating repels it and you can simply shake the water off with no harm done.

In specifications aspect, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch display with a full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) resolution. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a clock speed of 2.5GHz, slammed with 3GB of RAM. The Turing Phone comes in three storage variants, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, all which doesn't support external storage.

It houses a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera accompanied with a LED flash while it is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options onboard are Bluetooth 4.0 (LE), Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

The Turing Phone is available for pre-orders on the firm website with a starting price of $610 USD.
