Intex Technologies has silently launched a new smartphone in India, the Aqua Q5. The device is listed on the firm webpage with a price tag Rs 5,090 (approx $80) while availability details is not mentioned.

Specwise, the Aqua Q5 features a 4.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz slammed with 1GB of RAM.

It packs an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear while it is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera at the front. The Intex Aqua Q5 houses an 8GB of built-in storage that is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB), and offers Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, 2G, Micro-USB, and GPS as connectivity options. It is backed by a 1600mAh battery, which according to Intex can deliver up to 160 hours of standby time.
