Micromax Canvas Knight 2 (E471)

Canvas Knight 2 (E471) is a newly released mid-budget smartphone by Micromax that is schedule to go sale starting from next week in India. The phone carries a price tag of Rs 16,299 ($256 USD) which is quite cheap considering what it has to offer.

The Micromax Canvas Knight 2 is wrapped in a metallic finish sporting a glass panel at the back. It support dual-SIM options with dual 4G LTE onboard (4G on both SIM) and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Diving in, the device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4-core 1.5GHz Cortex A53 + 4-core 1GHz Cortex A53) processor slammed with 2GB of RAM. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

At the rear, the Canvas Knight 2 packs a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash while it houses a 5-megapixel selfie-enabled camera at the front with OmniVision OV5648 sensor. Connectivity options included are Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2260mAh battery with up to 335 hours of standby time.
