The Korean tech company LG, has launched a new budget smartphone in its homeland, Band Play. The announcement was made on Wednesday and the device will be available via network carrier SK Telekom with a price tag of KRW 394,800 (approx $337 USD). Global availability is not mentioned.

The LG Band Play packs a 1W (watt) loudspeaker for loud hearing and best music clarity. Also, it comes with call reject option which if enable will automatically reject calls from phone numbers specified and send them a configured message.

Specwise, the device features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD (1280×720 pixels) resolution and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz slammed with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

The LG Band Play is equipped with a 13-megapixel laser-focus camera at the rear accompanied with a LED flash while it bears a secondary 5-megapixel camera at the front. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via MicroSD card and offers Wifi, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, and NFC as connectivity options. A 2300mAh battery turn on the device.
