Lava has launched a new Android smartphone in India, the Iris Icon. The phone is exclusively available on e-commerce website Snapdeal with a price tag of Rs 11,499 ($184 USD).

The Lava Iris Icon offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Dragon Trail glass protection and packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) slammed with 2GB of RAM.

It sports a 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card and offers 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio, and USB OTG as connectivity options. The Iris Icon comes equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with Sony Exmor sensor and dual-LED flash at the rear while it also houses a 5-megapixel selfie-enabled front camera with BSI 2 Sensor.

The device measures 143.41×70.56×7.7mm and weight 143 grams. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
