HTC Desire 626G Plus Dual SIM

HTC has launched a new mid budget smartphone under its Desire series in India dubbed as Desire 626G+ Dual SIM, carrying a price tag of Rs 16,900 ($270 USD). The phone was announced by the firm on thursday and it is expected to go on sale in coming days. However, availability for international market is not yet known

The HTC Desire 626G+ Dual SIM as the name suggest offers dual-SIM functionality with dual standby and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box topped with Sense UI. It features a 5-inch IPS display touting a resolution of 720x1280 pixels.

Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by an octa-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.7GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card. The Desire 626G+ Dual SIM is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera that is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos with LED flash while it also harbours a 5-megapixel front camera with BSI Sensor for best selfie shot.

Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is powered by a 2000mAh battery.

HTC on Wednesday officially launched One M9+ during an event which took place in Beijing. The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and packs a fingerprint sensor beneath the physical home button. Other specifications include 5.2-inch QHD display, 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 20.7MP rear camera, and an Ultrapixel front camera.
