Sony PumpX (SRS X2)

Sony has announced a new portable compact wireless speaker in India, the PumpX (SRS X2), which carries a price tag of Rs 7,990 ($128 USD). The device was first launched along with SRS X3 in May last year and has been available in US and Europe.

The PumpX also known as SRS X2 offers good sound quality and enhanced bass output which is being passed out via two 10W speakers with 45mm drivers. NFC connectivity onboard make it easier to link up with NFC enabled devices such as Home Theaters, TVs, and other home gadgets.

Besides its basic functionality, the PumpX offers Bluetooth support and can be connect with smartphones to receive phone calls, thanks to its pre-built microphone. However, only device with Bluetooth 3.0+ are supported.

Built-in battery can last up to 5 hours in a single charge as claimed by the firm. Room-filled experience can be achieve via virtual surround mode despite its small size. The PumpX weight just 500 gram, it will be available in three different colors, White, Red, and Black.
