Getting our hands on what Toshiba has in store on tablet segment at CES, the firm has announced three new tablet/laptop hybrid devices, the Portege Z20t, Encore 2 Write 8-inch version, and Encore 2 Write 10-inch version. The Portege Z20t standalone version is priced at $899 (Roughly #165,000 NGN), with additional keyboard that cost $1,399 (Roughly #256,500 NGN), while with digitizer Wapcom pen onboard will cost you $1,899 (Roughly #348,000 NGN). The Encore 2 Write tablets are available at a starting price of $349.99 (#64,000 NGN).

Toshiba Portege Z20t Specifications

As listed on the firm website, the Portege Z20t features a 12.5-inch full-HD (1920x1080) IPS display with 10-finger capacitive touch support and runs Windows 8.1 Pro out-of-the-box. It is powered by an Intel Core M processor of unknown speed coupled with Intel HD Graphics 5300, and comes in three storage variants; 4GB RAM/128GB SSD and 8GB RAM/256GB or 512GB SSD.

The tablet offers optional 3G/4G combo module, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Micro-HDMI port, HDMI port, Gbit LAN (on keyboard) and 3 USB 3.0 ports as connectivity options. Toshiba Portege Z20t measures 309x215x21 mm and weigh 1.59kg in laptop dimension and 309x199x8.8 mm / 799g in tablet dimension.

Toshiba Encore 2 Write
The Toshiba Encore 2 Write is the successor to Encore 2 that was launched in May and features almost identical specifications.

The tablets comes with TruPen Stylus and it is available in 8-inch and 10-inch touchscreen display version with a resolution of 1,280x800 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Atom processor (unknown version) slammed with 2GB of RAM.

The Encore 2 Write packs a 64GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card and runs Windows 8.1 out-of-the-box.
