Having launched Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 in India earlier this week, Samsung has again unveiled a new budget smartphone in Korea, the Galaxy Grand Max. The phone is listed on the firm website at SKW 370,000 (Roughly $340 USD, #62,500 NGN) while availability outside Korea is not yet known.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Max Specifications

The Galaxy Grand Max features a 5.25-inch TFT display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It support only single SIM (Micro) and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a quad-core chipset (unspecified) with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM.

It comes with 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card and offers Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB as connectivity options. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max sports a 13-megapixel rear snapper with CMOS sensor and LED flash while it also houses a secondary 5-megapixel front camera. The device measure 146.1x75x7.9mm and packs a 2500mAh battery.

Last week, Samsung launched LTE version of Galaxy Note 4 dubbed as Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE. The smartphone support LTE Cat.6 and Cat.9, capable of rendering a download speed of up to 450Mbps.
