HP Pro Tablet 408 G1

HP has unveiled a new Windows tablet, the device named as HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 is listed on the company website without pricing and availability.

According to the listing, the HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and runs Windows 8.1 out-of-the-box. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor with base clock speed of 1.33GHz that can turbo boost up to 2.16GHz (2MB cache, 4 cores, 4 thread) coupled with 2GB of RAM. The HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 comes in two storage variants, 16GB version and 32GB version, both of which is expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB).

On the rear, the tablet sports an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash while it also houses 2-megapixel front camera for video chat. Connectivity options included with HP Tablet Pro 408 G1 are Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, Micro-HDMI and Micro-USB. Other features include TPM Security, Active Pen and 3G modem support, it is backed by a 4800mAh battery.
