Samsung Series 9 2015 Edition

The Korean tech giant Samsung on Wednesday unveiled two new devices, an ultrabook and All-In-One PC, the Samsung Series 9 2015 Edition and Samsung Series 7 AIO. The devices are expected to be showcase at CES, an event hosted by the firm which will start on Monday (January 5).

Pricing details is yet to be reveal but we expect both devices to kick-off after the event. The Samsung Series 9 2015 Edition also known as Samsung ATIV Book 9 2015 comes with a slim body of 11.8mm thickness and weigh just 950 grams. The laptop features a 12.2-inch WQXGA (1600x2560 pixels) display with HPR (Hyper Real Display) and runs Windows 8.1.

The laptop is powered by a 64-bit dual-core Intel Core M-5Y10C processor with base frequency of 800MB that can turbo boost up to 2.0GHz (4 Threads) with Intel HD Graphics 5300. The Samsung Series 9 2015 Edition will be available in two storage variants - 8GB RAM/256GB SSD version and 4GB RAM/128GB SSD version. The firm claims battery included can last up to 12 hours in a single charge and it comes with power saving mode for battery saving.

On the other hand, the Samsung Series 7 AIO Windows 8.1 PC measures 638.8x39.6x383mm and features a 27-inch full-HD (1280x1920 pixels) display. It is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor topped with 8GB of RAM.

The PC comes with two 10W speakers preloaded with Dolby Digital Sound technology for best music experience and sports a 1080p webcam at the top of the display for video chatting. The Samsung Series 7 AIO packs a 1TB HDD (Hard Disk Drive) while there is also 128GB SSD storage onboard.

Samsung WAM7500/6500 Ring Radiator Speaker

Earlier this week, Samsung announced two speakers with 360-degree radius sound output dubbed WAM7500 and WAM6500. The WAM7500 model is a stand-type while the WAM6500 is a portable table-top type with built-in battery.

According to the firm, the speaker utilize Ring Radiator technology that allows sound to flow in 360-degree radius with complete balance over treble and bass control. It is also expected to be showcase the event.
