Lava has launched a new low budget Android smartphone under its "Iris" series in India, the Iris 310 Style. The phone is listed on the firm website at Rs 3,749 (Roughly $60 USD, #11,500 Nigerian Nairas) without availability details.

Lava Iris 310 Style Specifications

The Iris 310 Style features a 3.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 320x480 pixels. It support dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box which makes it in league with other Lava KitKat phones like Iris 360 Music, Iris 406Q and Iris X1.

The smartphone is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 256MB of RAM. It comes with 2GB built-in storage which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

On the rear, the Iris 310 Style packs a 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash and houses a VGA front camera for video calling. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 1400mAh Li-ion battery rated to deliver up to 290 hours of standby time on 2G.

The Lava Iris 310 Style will be available in three colour variants Brown, Blue and Black.

Earlier this month, Lava launched Iris Fuel 60 which is the successor of Iris Fuel 50 that was launched in November. The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery that can deliver up to 32 hours of talk time. It features a 5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 10MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
