Sharp Unveils 4K LCD Screen With 736ppi For Smartphone Devices

4K display for smartphone was once considered as future project but not anymore. Sharp has unveiled a new high resolution display that will change the revolution of mobile devices. The new LCD panel dubbed IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) is a 4K display touting a whooping 736ppi pixel density.

This is the first time we'll see a display with such high pixel density on mobile phones, 2K display that has been in existence since very long time doesn't pass the line. However, it's not certain if the new display will be made available to to other manufacturers.

According to the firm, the display is expected to goes into production starting from 2016.
