LG Launches AKA With Customize Cases And Android 4.4 KitKat OS

The Korean company LG, has added a new series to its collections dubbed as AKA. However, the firm is yet to announce its pricing and availability. The smartphone comes in four different cover colour cases - Yoyo (Pink), Eggy (Yellow), Wookie (White) and Soul (Blue). The cases sports an animated eye at the upper portion of the screen that shows notifications and status information.


The LG AKA features a 5-inch HD IPS display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) packs with 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage that is expandable via MicroSD card and sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, while there's also 2-megapixel front camera onboard.

Connectivity options included with AKA are Wifi 802.11ac , Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and USB 2.0. It packs a 2,610mAh battery.

Smartphones launched so far by LG in November are G3 Dual, L Prime and G2 Lite.
