ZTE Grand Xmax

The Chinese phone maker ZTE, has launch a new low budget smartphone, The Grand Xmax. The phone is exclusively available on the US network carrier Cricket at $199.99, while the firm is yet to announce global release.

The phablet features a 6-inch display with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It is driven by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, along with 1GB of RAM.

The Grand Xmax tout an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash, and also houses 1-megapixel front camera. It packs an 8GB built-in storage which is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card.

Connectivity options included with the smartphone are Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, and 4G LTE. It is backed by 3,200mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 860hrs of standby.

Last month, the firm exclusivey launched a 4G LTE enabled smartphone with nearly-stock Android KitKat OS on US network carrier Tmobile, the ZTE Zmax. The phone features a 5.7-inch display and it powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor.
