Xolo Launches Opus HD With Android KitKat - Specifications And Price

Xolo Opus HD

Xolo on Monday has launch a new low-end Android smartphone dubbed as Opus HD. The phone is listed on the firm website at Rs 9,499 (approximately $157) without availability details.

According to the listing, the Opus HD features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The phone is driven by a quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, along with 1GB of RAM.

There is 8GB internal storage onboard which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The new Opus series spots an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash, and houses a 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options available on Opus HD are Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 600hrs of standby time.

In late September, the firm launched its first fingerprint scanner enable smartphone, the Q2100. The smartphone runs Android KitKat, and features an Infra-red sensor for remote functions.
