Metal Frame Samsung Galaxy Alpha Series

Samsung has finally unwrapped its long rumoured Alpha series smartphone, the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5. The smartphones was announced on Friday by the firm and will go on sale in China in November. However, pricing and availability outside China is not yet mentioned. What makes the Galaxy Alpha lines unique is their premium built full metal-frame body.

The smartphones are also being claimed as "slimmest phone till date" with the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 touting a 6.7mm and 6.9mm thickness. That is no where near the 4.75mm thickness of Oppo R5 and 5.1mm of Gionee Elife S5.1.

Full specifications of both device is not yet known but we do grab some key specifications that may as well serve you well.

The Galaxy A3 features a 4.5-inch qHD display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Other specifications include 16GB built-in storage, 8-megapixel rear snapper, 5-megapixel front camera and 1,900mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A5 features a 5-inch HD display and also runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It is driven by a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz along with 2GB of RAM. Other specifications include 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera and 2,300mAh battery.
