HP 7 VoiceTab

HP unveiled a new voice calling Android tablet on Saturday in India, the HP 7 VoiceTab. The tablet is listed on the firm website at Rs 10,990 (approximately $184).

The HP 7 VoiceTab (1351RA) features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM.

The tablet offers single-SIM (Micro) functionality and packs an 8GB built-in storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The new HP Android tablet tout a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and also houses a secondary VGA front camera.

On the connectivity front, the HP 7 VoiceTab support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G, GPS, OTG, and Micro-USB. It is backed by 11.4 Watt/hour Lithium Polymer battery rated to deliver up 10 hours of battery life.

The firm on Tuesday launched low budget Windows laptops and tablets, the Stream 7, Stream 8, Stream 11, and Stream 13. All the devices are expected to kick off in November.
