HP Launches 10-inch Android Powered Tablet At $280

HP 10 Plus

On Saturday, HP launched a 7-inch Android tablet in India dubbed as HP 7 Plus. However, it seems like the firm has more in store than we think. A new tablet has again be launch, the HP 10 Plus as it is named is listed on the company's US online store with a price tag of $279.99.

The new tablet features 10.1-inch display with a full-HD resolution of 1920*1200 pixels, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Unlike the HP 7 Plus, the 10 Plus is powered by a quad-core 1GHz Cortex-A7 processor, clocked at 1GHz along with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD.

It touts a 5-megapixel rear snapper, and a secondary 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options included with the device are Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 7,700mAh battery.

Last week, HP unveils four Windows 8.1 Powered devices, the Stream 7, Stream 8, Stream 11, and Stream 13. The first two are tablets while others are laptops. The devices are expected to start shipping next month.
