Lava Launches 7-inch Android Tablet: Specs And Price

Lava IvoryE Voice Calling Tablet

The Chinese phone manufacturer Lava, has launch a new Android tablet, the IvoryE. The tablet is listed on the firm website at Rs 6,099 (approximately $102) with no availability details.

The Lava IvoryE features a 7-inch LCD display with a HD resolution of 600x1024 pixels, it offers dual SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly bean out-of-the-box with voice calling support.

The new tablet is powered by a dual-core MediaTek processor, clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM. It packs-in a 4GB built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD.

The IvoryE houses a 2-megapixel rear camera, and a VGA front camera. On the connectivity front, the device features Bluetooth, GPS, Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

Earlier this month, Lava launched two low budget Android 4.4 KitKat smartphones in India, the Iris 400 Colour and Iris 404 Flair.
