HP Launches Low Cost Windows Laptops And Tablets, Coming In November

HP Stream 7 Tablet

HP has unveiled new low-cost Windows 8.1 tablet and notebook series, the Stream 11, Stream 13, Stream 7, and Stream 8. The notebooks which are Stream 11 and Stream 13 are priced at $199 and $299, while the Stream 7 and Stream 8 tablets are priced at $99 and $149.99 respectively. The devices will start shipping from November.

The Stream 7 and Stream 8 both comes with same specifications, besides the first sighting a 7-inch display while the later comes with 8-inch display.

Both tablets are powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The tablets are granted 1TB OneDrive free cloud storage space and comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office 365.

On the other hand, the Stream 11 and Stream 13 laptops both offers same specifications but comes with different screen size, the first features a 11.6-inch HD display while the later comes with a larger 13-inch HD display.

The laptops are driven by dual-core Intel Celeron N2840 processor, alongside with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Both notebooks come with a free year of Microsoft Office 365. The latter includes a 1TB of free cloud storage and 60 minutes of free Skype calls every month.

Last week, HP unveiled a 17-inch All-In-One PC, the Slate 17. The tablet which can also be used as a monitor is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Intel Celeron processor and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
