Blackberry launched its Passport smartphone yesterday at three events which took place in London, Dubai, and Toronto. We were unable to give full reports concerning the phone, which we will be covering in this post.

The new Passport would be priced at $599 for unlocked version in the US. The firm also declare that device can be purchase via there online store shopblackberry.com, which is available for customers living in France, Germany, Canada, UK, and US. The smartphone will also be available at $250 with a 2 years contract on US network carrier AT&T.

The new Blackberry Passport features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440x1440 pixel touting 453ppi pixel density. The smartphone runs newest Blackberry 10 OS version 10.3 and features new Blackberry virtual assistant, which the firm claims is specifically design for works.

The Passport is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with a 32GB built-in storage which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

It houses a 13-megapixel rear snapper with BSI sensor, and there's 2-megapixel front camera onboard. On the connectivity front, the Passport features 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11ac, 3G, NFC, OTG, GPS/A-GPS, Micro HDMI, DLNA, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3450mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 30 hours on normal usage.
